Food For Thought, curated by Julia Alejandrina, is an atomic examination of present day society and culture through the eyes of a black American. Joshua Caleb’s work is heavily influenced by New York graffiti writers and street artists. He is drawn to the attitude and passion that encompasses it. His work focuses on the meaning of authenticity projected through the lens of race, gender and culture.

Joshua is a Houston, Texas based artist from New York. Joshua was mentored by award winning children book illustrator Jacqueline Rogers before attending Boston College where he earned his undergraduates degree. Joshua has landed collaborative deals highlighted by Lamborghini Automobile Company, Coach New York, Monster Energy and Juneshine Beverage Co. He has also been awarded multiple solo exhibitions by galleries around the US. To his credit, Joshua has had two sold out shows. “Ascend” 2021 and ” Eden” 2022. Joshua’s work is internationally collected and a few of his pieces have been placed in permanent collections.
