Now Accepting Exhibition Proposals

BOX 13 ArtSpace exhibits experimental works not previously shown in Houston. Proposals are accepted for our three downstairs galleries (Front BOX Gallery, Back BOX Gallery, and Window BOX Gallery) and the Upstairs BOX Gallery for 6-8 week exhibition periods. BOX 13 ArtSpace is 100% volunteer artist-run – we do not have a staff. Exhibiting artists should be prepared to install their own work or make arrangements with a BOX member or a local to do so in your place. BOX 13 does not have a budget for expenses related to shipping work, purchasing equipment, travel expenses, etc.

All Exhibitions Proposals MUST include the following information.
Incomplete Proposals or those not following the below requirements will not be reviewed.

Proposals are due by Midnight (11:59PM) on Saturday, September ???, 2024. Proposals received after this time will not be reviewed.

For more information or to make an appointment to view the galleries, please contact us in advance. Gallery hours are Saturdays, 1 – 5PM while exhibitions are on view, or by appointment at box13artspace@gmail.com.

Next Steps
All Exhibition Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of BOX 13 Member Artists. Notifications will be sent by Monday, October ???, 2024. Selected exhibitions will be programmed February 2025 January 2026.
