BOX 13’s annual silent auction and fundraiser will be held on Saturday May 4th, 2024, at 7PM! This year’s theme is Empty BOX: Street Legal. We are celebrating coming of age at 16 and we all are ready to buckle up in our sweet ride and get our fundraiser on the road.

This spring, BOX 13 celebrates 16 years as a part of Houston’s vibrant art community. Our solid presence in the city is the result of current and past members’ hard work volunteering to run the space – from building studio walls to helping artists install shows in our galleries. Currently, we provide affordable studio spaces to 21 local artists, and this season we are scheduled to exhibit solo, group, and curated exhibitions in our 4 galleries for over 40 artists from across the country. We rely on the group as a whole to continuously further our mission to promote the creation and advancement of experimental contemporary art in Houston.

In order to support these initiatives and many more, each year we hold our exhibition and fundraiser, the Empty BOX! The fundraiser exists in two parts. We have the Silent Auction, which is an excellent way to add work from outstanding local, national, and international artists to your collection. We also have our Poor man’s Raffle, offering the chance to win work by current BOX 13 Resident Artists. Additionally, donations can be made to the fundraiser by clicking here.
