Artist statement

I’m interested in the relationship between machines and humans, so I explored that using a camera apparatus. I am exploring the concept of taking portraits of found items that individuals consider obsolete. In my free time, I enjoy taking blurry pictures of random subjects. I am currently working on a new project called Falta de Documentos where I take portraits of undocumented individuals, but their whole body is blurred except their environment. I plan to create sculpture pieces in conversation with migration and the images.
