Two Box13 members, Jennifer Ellison-Pulido and Caroline Roberts, plus two former Box13 members, Melinda Laszczynski and Melinda Cawley, have work in “Rendezvous: A Meeting of Art and Place” at the Goldmark Cultural Center, 13999 Goldmark Dr., Dallas, TX 75240, until October 3rd.
“Rendezvous: A Meeting of Art and Place” features selected colorful and nostalgic works from nine emerging Texas-based artists, selected by the show’s curator, Meredith Cawley. In “Rendezvous” Cawley seeks to create a site-specific installation of artwork that plays with the quirkiness of space, angles, edges and windowed entrances of the John H. Milde Gallery at the Goldman Cultural Center.
In addition to the opening reception on Saturday, September 15th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, the Milde Gallery is open to the general public Monday-Friday, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Rendezvous will be on display September 10 – October 3. Admission to Rendezvous is free.
